Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is an American woman who is a businesswoman. she is currently president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is a California born Buss has been raised by an affluent family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon and then later owned the Lakers. Following the divorce of her parents in 1972 She began feeling emotionally abandoned. As she turned 19 old, she began working for the family's business, serving as general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. In the following years, she created the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She was the the president for Great Western Forum prior to becoming vice-president for the Lakers. Buss her father passed away in 2013, and the Lakers were acquired by her and five of her siblings by way of a trust. Every sibling was entitled to an equal number of votes. Buss assumed the role as the head of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-owner of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion headquartered at Los Angeles.
